Our Story
Millicious is not just a brand – it’s a family dream come true, built with love, science, and a shared passion for healthy living.
I am Ann Mathew, a Food Process Engineer from NIFTEM-T and a former Assistant Professor, now the founder of Millicious.
Entrepreneurship has always been close to my heart. I grew up watching my father and mother build their venture together, side by side, with dedication and courage. Their journey shaped my dreams, and I always believed that someday I would create something of my own too.
But life flowed differently after my M.Tech. I got campus placed as an Assistant Professor, and teaching became my world for a while. It was only when I became a mother that the dream I had quietly carried for years came back with new meaning.
After my first child was born, I found myself standing in supermarket aisles, worried and confused by misleading food labels and processed products. During my second pregnancy, these worries turned into determination. I spent months researching, experimenting, and rediscovering the nutritional power of millets — grains that are wholesome, sustainable, and perfect for modern families.
My two children became the heart of this mission — the reason I wanted to create food that was safe, honest, and tasty enough to serve them every single day.
That’s how Millicious was born.
But this dream didn’t come to life alone — it is truly a complete family effort:
My father, Mathew Joseph – an entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the electrical industry – co-founded the company with me and has been my pillar of strength and guidance.
My mom – ensures smooth production and oversees daily operations, bringing her hands-on care into every batch we make.
My husband – with his marketing expertise – supports our outreach and helps build connections with our audience.
My sister – a biotechnologist and marketing strategist – contributes her knowledge of nutrition and consumer insights to shape our products and brand direction.
And of course, my two little children – the reason Millicious exists, the motivation behind every decision we take.
Together, we built Transal Food Products LLP and launched Millicious in November 2023 with one mission: to make healthy eating simple, transparent, and joyful.
